Role description
Dhelkaya Health is seeking a motivated and adaptable Payroll and Work Cover Administration Officer to join our supportive and collaborative Payroll team. This role involves supporting the preparation, processing, and maintenance of payroll services for Dhelkaya Health and associated external clients as well as administration duties to support the Work Cover team.
The successful candidate will be a flexible team player with strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a systems-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the preparation and processing of payroll using systems such as SAP and Kronos
- Supporting the Payroll Helpdesk for Dhelkaya Health and external payroll clients
- Processing Work Cover payroll data, including payroll reporting, COCs, and PIAWEs
- Performing general Work Cover administration tasks and providing backfill support as required
- Maintaining employee records, including filing, archiving, and disposal in line with organisational procedures
- Supporting the development and maintenance of payroll procedures
- Assisting with award interpretation and ensuring agreements and indexation updates are reflected in payroll systems
- Contributing to accurate, timely payroll processing in accordance with awards and agreements
- Preparing and delivering payroll reports
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of payroll and employee data
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives
- Providing general administrative support, including filing, mail handling, and project assistance
