Family Tree Horticulture is looking for recently qualified or soon-to-qualify horticulturists who want more than just another garden maintenance job.
We maintain established residential gardens and their surrounding infrastructure throughout the Southern Highlands.
We don't run a high-volume “mow and go” maintenance round.
Our focus is on maintaining quality gardens properly, developing our people and giving talented horticulturists the opportunity to take on greater responsibility as their capability grows.
PUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE INTO PRACTICE
You'll build on your existing horticultural knowledge through hands-on experience across:
- Plant identification, culture and plant health
- Structural and seasonal pruning
- Hedging and formative maintenance
- Soil conditioning and improvement
- Turf care and refinement
- Professional horticultural equipment
- Property and garden infrastructure
- Client communication and property responsibility
And as your capability develops, so can your responsibility and remuneration.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You don't need 10 years' experience.
We're interested in someone who has developed the horticultural foundations and now wants to become exceptionally good at their profession.
You'll need:
- A horticultural qualification, or be approaching completion
- A genuine interest in plants and horticulture
- Pride in the quality of your work
- A strong work ethic
- Professional communication skills
- Curiosity and a desire to keep learning
- The ambition to take on greater responsibility as you develop
