As ICT Procurement Category Lead, you'll drive complex sourcing initiatives, lead category strategy and partner with senior stakeholders to achieve exceptional commercial outcomes. - Lead Council's ICT procurement portfolio.
- Develop and deliver ICT category strategies.
- Lead complex ICT sourcing and contract negotiations.

About you
You are an experienced ICT procurement professional with a track record of delivering high-value sourcing outcomes in complex environments. Combining strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen, you build trusted relationships, influence decision-making and drive value from technology investments. Most importantly, you're a collaborative leader who inspires others, champions best practice and brings a proactive, solutions-focused mindset to everything you do.
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated success leading complex ICT procurement and contract negotiations in regulated environments.
- Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, tendering, negotiation and contract management.
- Commercially astute with strong category management and problem-solving capability.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and provide strategic advice.
- Sound knowledge of procurement legislation, governance and compliance frameworks.
- Experience working with Queensland Government ICT procurement frameworks, including QITC contracts.
- Appointment to this position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a Criminal History Check.
