The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Lead Educator ready to step into a role where your leadership shapes not just young children, but the educators around you? Working alongside our Centre Director and Educational Leader, you’ll design and deliver high-quality, culturally responsive programs while mentoring your team to achieve their best.
Your hourly rate will be negotiated based on your qualifications and experience, plus access to our Workers Retention Payment.
We are currently seeking Lead Educators for our Ngunnawal centre and Higgins centre to work permanent full-time hours.

1. This role is NOT eligible for employer-sponsored visas (visa sponsorship). You must already hold the right to work in Australia. 2. On this occasion, we are unable to accept applicants working towards their Certificate III qualification, or applicants whose only qualification is a Graduate Diploma or Masters of Teaching without the required experience (see below). 3. Our centres operate extended hours. Whilst we do our best to be flexible, candidates must be available to work opening shifts, closing shifts, or both. We are unable to accommodate school-hours-only availability.

About the Role:

Lead & Mentor — guide and support educators, promoting professional growth and high standards of care.

Program Development — design and evaluate specialised programs that reflect each child’s unique interests and needs.

Essential Requirements:
Qualifications
- Completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or recognised equivalent at Children’s Services Employee Level 4+)
OR Graduate Diploma / Masters of Teaching + the experience requirements below
Experience (within a long day care setting)

Diploma holders: minimum 2 years’ Lead Educator experience

Grad Dip / Masters of Teaching: 3–4 years’ Educator experience
- OR 2+ years’ Lead Educator experience in a long day care setting in Australia
