Your Opportunity
Are you passionate about making a real impact in your community? Join our dedicated team in Brewarrina and be part of a program committed to reducing homelessness and enhancing housing support services.
In this rewarding role, you'll work directly with young people, adults, and families facing homelessness or at risk, including those escaping domestic and family violence. Your focus will be on meeting clients where they are, managing crisis accommodation needs, and providing holistic support to address the root causes of homelessness.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
Respond to referrals of clients to the service from internal and external support services.
Induct clients into the service including the property, facilities, financials and regulations.
Provide ongoing case management sessions with clients and review progression against case plans.
Assist clients in the process of transition out of the service into independence or other services.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including service partners both government and non-government.
Ensure that all required internal and external client paperwork is completed and copies kept on file.
Complete a range of other administrative duties for the efficient running of the service.
Requirements for Success
You will have a passion for working in community services and relevant industry experience.
Knowledge and experience working with client issues relating to homelessness including domestic violence, substance abuse, mental health etc.
Computer literate in a windows environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Current NSW Driver’s License.
Senior First Aid Certificate
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
