Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to prepare high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in dough preparation, pizza baking, ingredient management, and maintaining excellent food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes.
- Stretch, top, and bake pizzas to company quality standards.
- Operate pizza ovens safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented consistently.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Manage stock levels and notify management of ingredient shortages.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Support menu development and suggest new pizza recipes when appropriate.
- Handle customer requests regarding dietary requirements and special orders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Pizza Chef, Cook, or similar role.
- Knowledge of pizza dough preparation, fermentation, and baking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using wood-fired, gas, or electric pizza ovens.
Working Conditions:

Pay: $31.00 – $41.00 per hour
