In this role, you'll:
Working as part of our team delivering road, bridge and traffic infrastructure projects that improve road safety, asset management and network efficiency across NSW, this role will see you develop and deliver a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and maintenance projects from investigation and design through to construction and completion.
You'll bring with you an electrical engineering and/or ITS background while gaining valuable exposure to project planning, contract management, stakeholder engagement, procurement and infrastructure delivery while contributing to projects that make a meaningful difference to communities across the state.
You will lead the delivery of safe, efficient and sustainable infrastructure outcomes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where balancing project priorities, stakeholder expectations and community needs is critical to success

About you
Your project management, engineering and stakeholder engagement skills formed across infrastructure, transport, construction, utilities, local government or related engineering environments will see you excel in delivering projects within agreed timeframes, budgets and quality standards while navigating competing priorities and complex project requirements.
You're recognised as a proactive and solutions-focused professional, skilled at planning, coordinating and delivering engineering projects, and experienced in project delivery, contract administration, procurement processes and working collaboratively with contractors, consultants and operational stakeholders.
Your strong communication skills, commitment to safety and ability to adapt to changing priorities will enable you to deliver high-quality outcomes while supporting Transport for NSW's vision of connecting communities and keeping people and goods moving safely and efficiently.
Essential Requirements
- A four year Engineering degree (Electrical, Civil or related discipline) from an Australian university or equivalent overseas qualification.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Willingness to travel and work outside normal business hours when required.
