The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Administrator to provide critical support to our professional staff. This is a multifaceted role where you will manage the lifecycle of legal matters, handle complex documentation, and ensure the seamless day-to-day operation of our Brisbane CBD office.
Key Responsibilities
- Matter Management: End-to-end file maintenance, including opening/closing matters, drafting legal correspondence and documentation.
- Financial Administration: Managing time-entry reviews, preparing draft bills and fee proposals, processing invoices, and issuing account statements.
- Practice Support: Coordinating schedules, managing multiple mailboxes, and providing administration assistance to professional staff to ensure productivity.
- Office Operations: Overseeing general administration including archiving, scanning, ordering supplies, and providing a professional first point of contact for clients via phone and in person.
What You Bring
Essential:
- Experience: 2+ years of administrative experience within a legal or professional services environment.
- Technical Proficiency: High-level skills in the Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
- Precision: An uncompromising eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality output.
Desirable:
- Experience with practice management software.
- Prior exposure to Commercial, Property, or Litigation practice areas.
