Senior Investment Analyst, (Private Debt & Equity)
If you're currently working in property finance, structured credit, lending, advisory or real estate investments and looking for broader deal exposure, greater ownership and closer proximity to investment decision-making, this role is worth exploring.
We're partnering with a specialist private real estate debt and equity manager with an active investment program across Australian property markets.
This is an opportunity to step beyond a process-driven environment and work directly alongside experienced investment and credit professionals across the full lifecycle of a transaction.
You'll gain exposure to complex transactions, contribute to investment recommendations and develop the commercial judgement that comes from working closely with experienced decision-makers in a lean, high-performing team.
Your responsibilities,
- Building and reviewing detailed financial models, feasibility assessments and transaction structures
- Conducting due diligence across valuations, legal documentation, QS reports, planning advice and market analysis
- Preparing investment and credit papers for internal approval
- Supporting transaction execution, documentation and settlement processes
- Monitoring live investments including covenant compliance, project progress and portfolio performance
- Assisting with investor reporting and transaction updates
Your experience,
You'll likely have 3–5 years' experience in property finance, real estate debt, structured credit, banking, non-bank lending, funds management or real estate advisory.
We're particularly interested in candidates who bring:
- Strong financial modelling capability
- Sound understanding of property finance and credit fundamentals
- Experience assessing transactions and identifying key risks
- Commercial curiosity and the confidence to challenge assumptions
- A desire to build a long-term career within private markets and real estate investing
