This role will involve working closely with individuals living with various disabilities. The Support Coordinator (Level 2) role enhances participants' ability to connect with informal, community, and funded supports, ensuring effective plan utilisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building skills to understand and use NDIS plans.
- Coordinating a mix of supports to boost capacity in maintaining relationships.
- Managing service delivery tasks.
- Facilitating independence and community inclusion.
- Helping participants achieve their personal goals.
This role involves working closely with individuals to navigate and maximise their support systems.
Salary will depend on qualifications and experience within the disability sector.
Qualifications include:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and service providers.
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening, empathy and the ability to convey information clearly.
- Customer service skills to ensure a high level of client satisfaction and support
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively in an on site environment.
- Computer literacy
Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Wagga Wagga NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Support Coordination: 1 year (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
