About Your Workplace
Join our Supply Chain Management team at our Hawthorn Head Office and play a key role in ensuring the right products are available at the right time for our customers. As Demand & Supply Planner, you'll work closely with local and international stakeholders to forecast demand, optimise inventory levels and support the smooth flow of stock across our distribution network. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical problem-solver who enjoys working with data, collaborating across teams and driving continuous improvement.
Your Responsibilities
Analyse sales trends and inventory requirements to develop accurate demand forecasts.
Balance inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimising stock holding costs.
Manage the supply and transfer of inventory across distribution centres to ensure product availability.
Identify, manage and communicate supply constraints, working proactively to minimise customer impact.
Lead inventory optimisation initiatives across warehouses, service technician van stock and other inventory locations.
Maintain demand and supply planning parameters within SAP and contribute to stocktakes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Service, Professional Products and Global Supply Chain teams.
What We Are Looking For
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed planning decisions.
Experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management or a similar supply chain role.
Sound understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and inventory management principles.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the business.
Strong systems capability, with SAP experience highly regarded.
Qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
