About the opportunity
This Operations Clerk role is a AM (7:30am - 3:36pm) role and a key support to the StarTrack Orange operations team. You’ll be supporting internal and external stakeholders for multiple areas of the business including operations, management and customers. Whether you’re assisting the team tracking freight, obtaining delivery information from drivers, or coordinating the movement of freight, every day you’ll use your superior organising skills to ensure all tasks are completed correctly and efficiently.
You’ll also
-
Assisting the team tracking and locating freight via phone calls, digital databases and physically looking in the warehouse.

Obtaining delivery information from drivers such as, estimated time of arrival, proof of delivery, delivery condition or location etc.

Coordinating the movement of freight by booking in deliveries, in consultation with drivers, receivers and third parties.

Data entry and general admin duties.
About you

Great communication skills.
-
Enjoy working safely and respectfully with drivers, supervisors and customers.

Confident using computers, Excel, Word, Outlook and some in house programs.

Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.

Able to work overtime pre shift or post shift
