Position Outline As part of the Connor Crew, you are responsible for supporting your Store and Manager. This is achieved by having a customer first mentality, outfitting our customers with confidence, style, and comfort, as well as providing exceptional store presentation through efficiently carrying out operational tasks. Performance • Customers are always the first priority. • Understands products, features, and benefits. • Actively uses Connor CLASS selling techniques and product knowledge to sell, outfit and service the customers’ needs and wants. • Delivers sales and KPI benchmarks in line with the retail season and active promotions.
- Is accountable for those sales and KPI results and records these in the stores red book (sales journal) at the end of every shift. • Efficiently carries out store operational tasks to enhance sales and the customers instore shopping experience. Is mindful that tasks don’t override that “customers are our priority”. • Multi tasks where necessary and understands the pace and urgency of our business.
- Upskills self by attending training sessions, completing Dayforce learning, mirroring leaders, taking on coaching, and seeking constructive feedback. • Takes an interest in fashion and current trends. • Actively shares knowledge with fellow crew to elevate each other. • Always acts with the companies’ best interest in mind.
- Any other performance task as directed within skill and competency. Operations • Understands Connor operations, AP21, store procedures and processes. • Uses Dayforce to its full potential including updating availability, punching in/out, completing learning activities etc. • Actively performs instore daily operational tasks, procedures, and processes.
- Takes ownership to deliver excellence in WTF presentation on shift. (WTF = windows, tables, front racks). • Actively supports and delivers on instore visual merchandising and store presentation. • Has pride instore, actively helps with instore housekeeping and recovery of store during shift.
- Understands and actions with integrity all internal and external security processes. Reports any suspicious behaviours. • Uses care and integrity with transactions, data entry and cash handling. • Stock is the hero, efficiently and accurately processes stock deliveries including receipting, reworking, storing, and displaying of products.
- Prioritises best sellers in line with direction, always, in size and category. • Efficiently and accurately processes markdowns, click `n collect, ship from store and customer orders etc as required. • Takes part in stock takes with diligence and accuracy. • Proactively identifies hazards and reports/escalates any issues as required.
Has an awareness of WH&S and is compliant with safety protocols and procedures to provide a safe working environment for self and others. • Any other operational tasks as directed within skill and competency.
