Koinonia Enterprises is looking for an experienced Data Centre / Optical Fibre Technician based in Sydney to join our team.
Koinonia supports operators, hyperscalers and Tier 1 contractors across Australia in:
- Data Centre Commissioning
- Rack & Stack Deployments
- High-Density Fibre Infrastructure
- Fibre Splicing & Testing
- Structured Cabling
We deliver complex fibre and data centre infrastructure across live carrier networks, hyperscale facilities and critical telecommunications environments, where precision, compliance and reliability are essential.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Hands-on experience working in Data Centre environments
- Strong experience in optical fibre cabling, installation, restoration and patching
- Fibre splicing and testing
- Structured cabling and high-density fibre infrastructure
- Rack & Stack deployments
- Fibre troubleshooting and fault rectification
- Cable routing, labelling and termination
- Good understanding of Data Centre standards and safe working practices
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- NV1 Security Clearance is mandatory
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Must be based in Sydney
- Willing and able to travel interstate as required for projects
- Available to commence within approximately two weeks
