Evans & Associates is a well-established and respected regional accounting firm providing taxation, accounting and business advisory services to individuals, primary producers, family businesses and growing enterprises throughout North East Victoria and Southern NSW.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Euroa office. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients while contributing to the continued growth of our firm.
For the right candidate, there is genuine opportunity to take on increasing leadership responsibilities and play an important role in the future development of our Euroa office.
About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of business and individual clients.
- Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns.
- Deliver taxation, compliance and business advisory services.
- Assist clients with strategic business decisions and tax planning.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
- Develop trusted, long-term relationships with clients.
- Work closely with the Director to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
About You
The successful applicant will ideally possess:
- CPA or CA qualification (or be close to completion).
- A minimum of five years' experience in public practice accounting within Australia.
- Strong technical taxation and accounting knowledge.
- Experience managing client relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability.
- A proactive approach with a genuine desire to add value to clients.

Pay: $71,872.32 – $125,105.06 per year
