To be eligible for a traineeship, you must:
✔ Be willing to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
✔ Have permanent working rights in Australia
✔ Have strong communication and organisational skills
✔ Be enthusiastic, motivated, and passionate about working with children
✔ Be able to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Have flexible availability
✔ Hold (or be willing to obtain) a QLD Working with Children Check
✔ Hold a Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via the Geccko platform
✔ Provide proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) and Whooping Cough (Pertussis), or be willing to receive them
Please note: To be eligible for a traineeship, you must not have completed a Certificate or Diploma qualification (outside of secondary school) within the last seven years. Applicants who have completed a school-based qualification outside of childcare may still be eligible.
