About the Role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager to lead performance across multiple manufacturing lines on our Night Shift team at Virginia. This role is all about building capability, coaching and developing frontline leaders, and creating a high-performing culture where teams can thrive. You'll take ownership of operational results, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and work cross-functionally to ensure safety, quality, people, and performance outcomes are achieved.
What your days look like:
Coach and develop Level 7 operators and frontline leaders
Drive line performance across safety, quality, yield and OEE
Lead team performance, labour planning and payroll activities
Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain teams
The Ingredients for Success:
Just like you can't make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role;
Previous leadership experience within manufacturing, FMCG, logistics or another fast-paced environment
Strong people leadership, coaching and performance management capability
Experience leading teams through change and driving operational results
Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
Continuous improvement mindset with experience identifying opportunities and implementing solutions
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple levels of the business
