At Schneider Electric, we're looking for an experienced Industrial Business Development professional to drive profitable growth across our industrial customer base in the North Brisbane to Rockhampton Region
This is a customer-facing role for someone who enjoys identifying new opportunities, developing strategic accounts and building long-term partnerships across complex industrial markets.
You'll work with End Users, Panel Builders, Contractors, OEMs, System Integrators and Distribution Partners, connecting customer needs with Schneider Electric's broad portfolio of power, automation and energy solutions.
What You'll Do

Develop and execute account and territory plans to deliver profitable sales growth.

Identify and develop new customers, applications and business opportunities.

Build and nurture strategic relationships with industrial End Users and channel partners.

Grow existing accounts by identifying opportunities across Schneider Electric's broader portfolio.

Develop a strong pipeline across MRO, product conversion and project opportunities.

Understand customers' operational and business challenges and translate them into relevant solutions.

Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Channel and technical teams to develop winning strategies.

Manage pipeline, forecasting and customer activity through CRM and sales management tools.

Support product launches, campaigns and other market development initiatives.

Provide customer and competitive insights to help shape future offers and market strategies.
About You
You're commercially driven, customer-focused and comfortable developing business within technically complex industrial environments.
To be successful, you'll ideally bring:

Proven experience in industrial sales, business development or strategic account management.

Strong knowledge and experience with industrial switchgear, control products, electrical distribution or industrial automation solutions.

A demonstrated track record of generating new business and delivering sales growth.

Experience working with End Users, OEMs, Contractors, System Integrators, Panel Builders and/or Distribution Partners.

An Electrical Engineering qualification, Electrical Trade qualification or equivalent relevant industry experience.

Strong consultative and solution-selling capability.

Experience developing and managing sales pipelines, forecasts and account plans.

Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

The ability to understand both the technical and commercial drivers behind customer decisions.

A proactive, collaborative and self-motivated approach.
