The Common Room Cafe Project – Stirling
We’re looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to join the team at The Common Room Cafe Project in Stirling.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys preparing fresh, quality food and creating a welcoming experience for our customers. We’re looking for a cook who can work well independently, contribute to a positive team environment, and take pride in what they serve.
About the role
As our Cook, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and cooking a range of cafe meals and food items
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
- Following food safety, hygiene and cleanliness requirements
- Managing food preparation and kitchen organisation
- Monitoring stock and minimising food waste
- Working collaboratively with the cafe team
- Helping maintain a clean, safe and welcoming kitchen environment
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience working in a commercial kitchen or cafe environment
- Is confident preparing a variety of food
- Has a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Is organised, reliable and able to work efficiently during busy periods
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team
- Takes pride in delivering quality food and good customer experiences
Relevant qualifications and experience are highly regarded, but we’re also interested in enthusiastic cooks who are keen to contribute and grow with the team.
