Liontown Limited (ASX: LTR) is one of Australia's newest and most exciting lithium producers. Our Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation in Western Australia is a world-class, tier-one asset with a 20+ year mine life — and we're now building on that foundation through a significant staged underground expansion.
The expansion is underway. Underground development of the Northwest Flats orebody is progressing, infrastructure programs are accelerating, and a dedicated project team is being assembled to deliver the next phase of Liontown's growth.
Reporting to the Infrastructure Superintendent, this is a hands-on engineering role sitting at the intersection of project management and underground infrastructure delivery. You'll be involved in the design, resourcing, and execution of a broad range of infrastructure projects supporting both ongoing underground operations and the expansion program.
From sustaining capital works — pump stations, escapeways, ventilation controls — through to more complex expansion-related infrastructure, you'll play a key part in keeping Kathleen Valley's underground running safely and efficiently.
Assist with the design, resourcing, and project management of all infrastructure associated with underground operations, including key projects for the underground expansion
Coordinate with contractors, Technical Services, Production, and Planning teams to ensure infrastructure works align with operational priorities
- Tertiary qualification in Civil, Mechanical, or Mining Engineering — we welcome candidates from across these disciplines
Working knowledge of underground infrastructure systems such as dewatering, ventilation, power distribution, or escapeways
At Liontown, you'll join a team that's helping power the clean energy future. Our culture is built on people who take ownership, look out for each other, and are proud of what they're building together.
This role offers real breadth — sustaining capital, expansion infrastructure, and underground operations support — on a live, growing site. This is a permanent position on an 8:6 roster (12-hour days), with competitive remuneration on offer.
