About the Opportunities
Successful candidates will work closely with business stakeholders, clinicians, operational teams, project managers, and technical delivery teams to analyse business requirements and support the delivery of innovative healthcare solutions.

- Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) implementations
- Clinical and Patient Management Systems
- Digital Health Transformation Programs
- Healthcare Data & Reporting Initiatives
- System Integrations and Platform Modernisation
- Process Improvement and Service Optimisation
- Regulatory and Compliance Projects
- Workforce, Finance, and Operational Systems Upgrades
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders, clinicians, and subject matter experts to understand business needs and challenges.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions.
- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
- Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, process maps, and functional specifications.
- Analyse current-state and future-state business processes.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and business readiness activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, developers, testing teams, and vendors.
- Support solution design, system implementation, testing, and deployment activities.
- Assist with UAT planning, execution, and business sign-off.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, policies, and governance requirements.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within healthcare, health services, hospital, aged care, or health technology environments.
- Strong experience eliciting and documenting business requirements.
- Demonstrated capability in stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation.
- Experience creating:
- Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Functional Specifications
- User Stories
- Process Maps
- Acceptance Criteria
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience supporting Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
Desirable Experience
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) platforms.
- Hospital Information Systems.
- Patient Administration Systems (PAS).
- Healthcare integrations and interoperability projects.
- Clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
- Data migration, reporting, or analytics initiatives.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance, privacy, and regulatory frameworks.
