We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cafe All-Rounder to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks including food preparation, baking, customer service, cleaning, and assisting with day-to-day cafe operations. Weekend availability is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking orders and handling cash/EFTPOS transactions
- Preparing and serving food and beverages
- Assisting with basic cooking and meal preparation
- Baking and preparing cafe products
- Food preparation and stock rotation
- Washing dishes and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Cleaning work areas, equipment, and dining spaces
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Assisting with opening and closing duties
- Working efficiently as part of a team
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous cafe, hospitality, or food handling experience is preferred but not essential
