voco Gold Coast is looking for a motivated and reliable Casual Kitchen Steward to join our busy and dynamic kitchen team.
As a Kitchen Steward, you'll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining dishwashing machines to ensure they remain in excellent working condition.

Assisting chefs with food preparation and general kitchen duties in line with daily production requirements.

Ensuring a consistent supply of clean equipment, crockery, cutlery, and utensils is available to all outlets at all times.

Collecting and disposing of waste while maintaining the cleanliness of bins and the garbage room.

Completing all scheduled cleaning tasks across kitchen areas and ensuring daily cleaning schedules are followed.

Adhering to stewarding, sanitation, and food safety procedures at all times.

Demonstrating a sound understanding of the safe handling and application of detergents, sanitisers, and disinfectants.

Contributing to a positive, organised, and safety-focused work environment.
