About the Role
Home Caring Narre Warren is seeking a reliable, compassionate and experienced Disability Support Worker to provide ongoing support to our Support At Home & NDIS participant Clients.
Flexable hours depending on the clients needs.
Key Responsibilities
· Providing respectful personal care and daily-living assistance
· Supporting the participant with morning and afternoon routines
· Maintaining the participant’s dignity, privacy, safety and independence
· Preparing simple meals
· Assisting with light household tasks, including tidying
· Support with according to the individual care plan, routines and preferences
· Communicating effectively with the Case Managers
· Completing accurate progress notes and reporting concerns
· Establishing a consistent, safe and positive relationship with our client
Essential Requirements
· Previous disability-support or personal-care experience
· Confidence providing personal care respectfully and professionally
· Experience supporting non-verbal participants or people with complex communication needs is a bouns
. Willing to travel
· Availability
· Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
· Current First Aid and CPR certificates
· Current National Police Check
· Valid Australian driver’s licence, insurance and access to a reliable vehicle
· Valid Australian working rights
· Ability to provide professional references
· A reliable, patient and compassionate approach
· Commitment to providing consistent, long-term support
. A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services
