Clinical Receptionist – Part Time or Full Time

We are looking for a friendly, organised and professional Clinical Receptionist to join our growing allied health clinic.
We are a busy multidisciplinary clinic providing high-quality care to our patients, and our reception team plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience from the moment a patient walks through the door.
We are open to part-time or full-time applicants, with flexibility around the right candidate.
About the role
As a Clinical Receptionist, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of our reception area and supporting our clinicians and patients.
Your duties will include:
- Welcoming patients and providing exceptional customer service
- Answering phones and responding to patient enquiries
- Managing appointments and clinician diaries
- Processing payments and private health insurance claims
- Managing patient bookings, cancellations and recalls
- Liaising with clinicians and other members of the healthcare team
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Processing referrals and correspondence
- General administration and reception duties
- Assisting with the day-to-day organisation of the clinic

Previous medical, allied health or clinical reception experience is highly desirable. Experience with practice management software is also advantageous.

The hours
Our clinic operates Monday to Saturday, with the full-time position primarily Monday–Friday. Part-time hours can be discussed with the successful applicant.
