Colestan Electrics is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our growing team based in Narembeen, Western Australia.
This is a hands-on role offering a diverse mix of work across mining, industrial, commercial, agricultural, and regional electrical projects, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and being part of a close-knit team.
You’ll be involved in everything from installations and upgrades through to maintenance, fault finding, breakdown response, and project work.

About the Role
As part of the Colestan Electrics team, you will:
- Carry out electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Diagnose faults and respond to breakdowns efficiently
- Work across commercial, industrial, agricultural, and mining-related projects
- Ensure all works are completed safely and to a high standard
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Work independently while contributing positively to team culture
- Assist with project delivery and ongoing maintenance contracts
- 100+ hour fortnights
- Short, irregular stints working away are required, including an additional site allowance.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:✔ WA Electrical License
✔ Current Australian Driver’s License
✔ Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
✔ Ability to work unsupervised and manage workload effectively
✔ Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical including ongoing monthly Drug & Alcohol testing
✔ Minimum 2 years experience
✔ CPR/LVR first aid
