A Project Quality Coordinator at Kapitol Group is responsible for ensuring construction projects meet quality standards from planning through project handover. The role is embedded within a project team and works closely with site managers, engineers, subcontractors, and the Head of Quality.
Typical responsibilities:
Maintain a strong on-site presence and monitor day-to-day quality performance.
Coordinate quality requirements during planning, construction, and project handover.
Review construction documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
Conduct inspections and surveillance of critical construction activities.
Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and assist with root-cause analysis.
Facilitate "First of Kind" inspections for high-risk work.
Ensure quality records are completed accurately using systems such as Visibuild.
Support subcontractor onboarding and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Prepare weekly quality reports and track quality metrics.
Promote continuous improvement and collaborate with project, design, and commercial teams.
Required qualifications:
3-5+ years of experience in construction quality, site engineering, or project delivery.
Knowledge of ITPs, quality assurance processes, ISO standards, and construction quality management.
Experience with quality management software such as Visibuild is desirable.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is typically preferred.
Pay: $9,167.00 – $10,000.00 per month
