We are looking for a casual team member to join our busy dog boarding and daycare crew.
This is a hands on role where you will be on your feet, working with dogs and keeping things running throughout the day.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is DOG WISE and confident with handling dogs of all sizes and temperments
- Has experience with dogs or a strong understanding of dog behaviour
- Can think quickly and make good decisions in a busy environment
- Is comfortable working independently and able to work alone
- Is reliable, flexible and punctual
- Is happy to follow routines, procedures and protocols
- Has a calm and positive approach to dogs
- Works as part of a team and communicates clearly
You must be able to:
- Monitor dogs general behaviour
- Identify potential signs a dog may be unwell, injured, stressed or not themselves
- Report concerns promptly to managment
- Be available to work weekends and pubilc holidays
This isn't a job for someone who simply likes dogs. You must have the natural understanding, connection and affinity with dogs.
Casual hours with potential for regular shifts.
