PSA (Plastic Solutions Australia) is looking for a reliable, safety-focused and customer-oriented HR/MR Truck Driver to join our team.
Based in Arndell Park NSW, you’ll be responsible for delivering PSA products to customers and construction sites across Sydney and some regional areas across NSW. This is a hands-on role that combines driving with warehouse duties, including picking, packing, forklift operation and loading.
You’ll be an important face of PSA to our customers, so we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally and understands the importance of safe, reliable and on-time deliveries.
What You’ll Be Doing
Complete local and regional deliveries across NSW in a company truck.
Follow planned delivery runs and communicate with site contacts to coordinate unloading.
Assist with unloading deliveries and provide support on site where required.
Safely load, secure and unload products in accordance with statutory requirements.
Assist with warehouse duties including picking, packing and forklift operation.
Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer/site signatures for proof of delivery.
Maintain the truck to a high standard, including cleanliness, fuel levels and basic checks.
Ensure servicing and maintenance requirements are reported and completed as required.
Comply with all road rules, transport regulations and WHS requirements.
Represent PSA professionally and courteously when dealing with customers and site personnel.
Provide feedback and relevant market/customer information to the business.
Assist with other warehouse and operational duties as required.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious and willing to get involved.
You will ideally have:
Current HR or MR driver's licence.
Current LF forklift licence.
Previous experience driving in Sydney, NSW and regional areas.
Experience delivering to construction sites or building sites.
Previous warehouse experience, including picking, packing and forklift operation.
Good knowledge of road rules, transport requirements and safe load restraint.
Ability to read, complete paperwork and perform basic calculations.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices.
A professional and positive attitude.
Experience in the concrete construction or building products industry would be highly regarded, as would previous sales or customer-facing experience.
