MJ Hygiene Management Services is growing, and we're looking for reliable, hardworking and safety-focused people to join our cleaning teams across multiple sites throughout Brisbane and South East Queensland.
This isn't your typical cleaning job.
We specialise in industrial cleaning, food-processing hygiene, silo cleaning, machinery cleaning, external industrial cleaning and specialised deep cleans.
We have opportunities across our regular client sites from Tennyson through to Ormeau and Yatala, with morning, afternoon and evening shifts available.
We're also growing our Specialist Cleaning Team, which travels together to complete specialist projects from the Sunshine Coast through Brisbane to the Gold Coast.

What You'll Be Doing
Depending on your experience, training and assigned site, your work may include:
- Food-processing and factory cleaning
- Cleaning and sanitising machinery and production equipment
- Foaming, scrubbing, rinsing and sanitising
- Warehouse and production-area cleaning
- Critical hygiene and food-handling areas
- Cold-room cleaning
- High-reach cleaning
- Floors, walls, drains and hard-to-access areas
- Factory shutdown and deep cleaning
- Operating commercial and industrial cleaning equipment
- Following cleaning schedules and completing required documentation
Silo & Specialist Cleaning
For people looking for variety and the opportunity to develop additional skills, our Specialist Cleaning Team undertakes work including:
- Silo cleaning
- External industrial and building cleaning
- Factory deep cleans
- High-reach and difficult-access cleaning
- Facades, walls and external surfaces
- Pressure and wash-down cleaning
- Machinery and equipment cleaning
- Factory shutdown cleaning
- Specialist food-manufacturing sanitation
Our specialist crews travel together as a team, with projects extending from the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast.
Previous specialist experience is an advantage, but we're also interested in people with the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
Safety Is Important to Us
Our teams work in active industrial and food-manufacturing environments, so safety is a critical part of the role.
Depending on the site and task, you'll be required to follow:
- Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
- Machinery and equipment isolation requirements
- PPE requirements
- Chemical handling procedures
- HACCP and GMP requirements
- Food-safety and hygiene procedures
- Site-specific safety requirements
- Hazard and incident reporting procedures
Previous experience with LOTO, machinery isolation, HACCP, GMP or industrial safety is highly regarded.
Site and task-specific training will be provided where required.

Previous experience in industrial cleaning, food processing, factory cleaning, silo cleaning, pressure cleaning, warehouse cleaning or specialist deep cleaning is highly regarded.
A current driver's licence and reliable transport are highly desirable, particularly for people interested in joining our travelling specialist team.
