About this position
The Piped Stormwater Drain Cleaning Team plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the City's stormwater drainage network. We are seeking two motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join this small, close-knit team delivering essential maintenance across the City.
This hands-on role involves the safe operation of a vacuum truck and CCTV equipment to inspect, clean and maintain stormwater pipes, pits and drainage structures.
These are permanent positions based at the City's Operations Centre in Maddington.
What we are looking for
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:

Experience in stormwater drainage cleaning or similar civil maintenance work

Confidence operating vacuum trucks or similar plant
-
Ability to read plans and use CCTV inspection equipment (or willingness to learn)

Strong work ethic, positive attitude and commitment to safety

Ability to work independently, contribute to a team and assist across all aspects of engineering operations
Essential requirements

MR Class Drivers Licence

Safety Awareness Certificate (White Card)

National Police Clearance (no more than three months old). Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
