About the role:
We are seeking a highly capable Senior Advisor, Organisational Development to lead the design, delivery and evaluation of workforce and capability initiatives that strengthen organisational performance and support strategic priorities across SafeWork NSW.
You will partner with senior leaders to diagnose organisational needs, shape evidence-based solutions and drive meaningful change, while building leadership, management and workforce capability in a dynamic, highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of organisational development (OD), leadership and capability initiatives that support strategic workforce outcomes
- Partner with senior stakeholders to provide expert OD advice, diagnose business needs and develop aligned workforce and capability strategies
- Design and oversee contemporary learning solutions, frameworks and tools that drive capability uplift and cultural change
- Use workforce insights, data and research to inform evidence-based decision-making, planning and program design
- Establish and monitor evaluation frameworks to measure the impact and effectiveness of OD initiatives
- Lead complex projects, including planning, governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement, ensuring quality delivery within agreed timeframes
- Drive continuous improvement of OD practices, fostering a high-performing, inclusive and customer-focused culture

About You:
You are a strategic and experienced OD professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently influence at a senior level. You bring:
- Proven experience designing and delivering organisational development, leadership and capability initiatives
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships and influence outcomes
- Experience translating workforce data and insights into actionable strategies and solutions
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and manage competing priorities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- A proactive, collaborative approach with a focus on continuous improvement and impact
Essential requirements
- Appointment and ongoing assignment may be subject to restrictions and the satisfactory participation in mandatory pre-employment and ongoing probity screening, in accordance with relevant Legislation and/or related policies
- Demonstrated experience leading leadership programs and diverse OD workforce needs
