About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Recovery Unit, where you will play a key role in supporting patients through their post-operative care journey. In this fast-paced and rewarding environment, you’ll deliver direct, comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures, working as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team focused on achieving the best possible outcomes.
As a Registered Nurse, you will be supported in further developing your clinical expertise through ongoing professional development and hands-on experience. You’ll be accountable for the quality of your own nursing practice and responsible for safely delegating tasks to other staff. About You
You are a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with a strong foundation in clinical care and a commitment to delivering safe and effective post-operative nursing services. To succeed in this role, you will have:
Current registration (or eligibility) with the Nursing Board of Australia, with evidence of completing a Graduate Nurse Program or equivalent
Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide comprehensive nursing care within a multidisciplinary recovery setting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support, assess, and guide other team members
Sound understanding of professional standards, legislative responsibilities, and quality improvement principles in healthcare
