Registered Nurse (RN) – Wound Management & IV Medication Administration

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality in-home nursing care for a female client in Carlton.
The successful candidate will be responsible for wound assessment and management, administration of IV medications, and ongoing clinical monitoring to ensure the client's health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive wound assessments and dressing changes.
- Administer IV medications in accordance with clinical protocols and medical orders.
- Monitor and document the client's condition and response to treatment.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and progress notes.
- Communicate effectively with the client's healthcare team and family members as required.
- Deliver person-centred care while maintaining dignity, privacy, and professionalism.
Essential Requirements
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated experience in wound care and wound management.
- Proven experience administering IV medications.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Working with Children Check (if applicable).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport preferred.
