As a Disability Support Worker, you’ll deliver exceptional, person-centred care to clients with physical, intellectual and mental health challenges. Your day-to-day will include:
- Assisting with daily living tasks like personal hygiene and grooming.
- Providing transportation and companionship for appointments, shopping, and social outings.
- Supporting clients in achieving their NDIS goals, promoting independence and inclusion.
- Flexible Shifts with Different Clients: Work with a variety of clients in the area, with shifts available weekdays and weekends from 6am to 10pm.
What You Bring to the Team
- Experience with behaviours of concern, including PTSD and depression.
- Background in mental health and complex care.
- Understand of recover-focused supports.
- Training in restrictive practices and top-notch communication skills.
- A current driver’s licence, your own car, and a passion for empowering others.
- WWCC, NDISWC and current police check are mandatory for this role.
- Completed NDIS Code of Conduct
- First Aid and CPR compliance
