Child Care Worker- Lead Educator

About the Role – Lead Educator (Toddler Room)
As the Toddler Room Lead Educator, you will:
- Create a warm, nurturing and responsive environment where toddlers feel safe, secure and confident to explore.
- Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children's physical, social, emotional, cognitive and language development.
- Foster secure attachments and respectful relationships with children and families.
- Support children's growing independence, confidence and emerging self-help skills.
- Observe, document and extend children's learning in line with the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Lead and mentor assistant educators within the room.
- Work collaboratively with the leadership team to maintain high-quality practice and continuous improvement.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
Skills and Experience Required
Applicants must have:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working Towards).
- Current Queensland Blue Card.
- Current National Police Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
- At least 3 years demonstrated experience working with children aged 6weeks to 6 years.
- Strong knowledge of child development during the toddler years.
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).
- Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality early childhood education and care.
