Casual Cook required.
First Friends is a long daycare centre based in Mindarie. We are a small 54 place centre that caters for children aged from 6 months to 5 years old. We are now looking for a casual cook/chef to join us on an ad hoc basis.
The role will include, but is not limited to:
- Plan and prepare heathly, balanced meals that meet children's nutritional needs
- Follow approved menus and accommodate special dietary requirements, allergies and cultural preferences
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and sanitation in accordance with relevant regulations
- Store, label and rotate food supplies using safe food handling practices
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils and food preparation areas
- Keep accurate records of food temperatures, cleaning schedules and allergy management
- Ensure the kitchen remains organised, safe and compliant with workplace health and safety requirement
You should hold a relevant qualification and be a real team player.
Pay: $28.81 – $32.47 per hour
