We’re on the lookout for a passionate Early Childhood Education Manager to join our Children’s Services team and support our wonderful childcare centres across Queensland. In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing operations in your portfolio, making sure our early childhood services and programs are delivered to the highest standards. Together, we’ll bring C&K’s vision, values, and priorities to life for children, families, and communities.
- Full time - 38 hours per week Monday to Friday
- Hybrid working arrangements with opportunities to work from home

Help shape the future of children in our care
In this role you will lead and support service delivery, including implementation of new services, to promote integrated approaches and achieve quality outcomes aligned with C&K's strategy, priorities and values. You'll coach and mentor Centre Directors, strengthen leadership capability, and confidently manage competing priorities across your portfolio. You will:
- Apply effective communication and leadership strategies to engage and develop staff, partnering with Centre Directors and regional teams to inspire a shared sense of purpose and deliver positive outcomes for children and families
- Manage service performance to drive continuous improvement, quality outcomes and compliance
- Support services to identify and respond to community and family needs while managing operational risks
- Collaborate with the regional management team to ensure service priorities, challenges and outcomes are effectively addressed
What you’ll bring
To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in multi-site leadership within the early childhood sector
- An ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (desirable but not required)
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and supporting multiple early childhood education and care services to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Willingness to travel across your portfolio, including occasional regional travel
- Practical understanding of compliance, quality improvement, early childhood curriculum, child wellbeing and inclusion frameworks
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships, coach leaders, facilitate collaboration and influence positive outcomes
- Strong organisational, decision-making and time management skills, with the confidence to navigate difficult conversations, manage competing priorities and hold others accountable
- Skills, capability and experience in implementing innovative strategies to support service delivery and business outcomes, including analysing trends and data, developing strong partnerships, and applying research and best practice
