We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day running of our busy restaurant. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and leadership team, you’ll help ensure smooth service, build a positive team culture, and deliver the warm, genuine hospitality the Ducks are known for.
About The Role
Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily FOH operations across floor and bar
Lead by example during service, setting the tone for high energy, professional and friendly hospitality
Help train, coach and develop team members to deliver consistently great guest experiences
Assist with rosters, daily reporting and cost management
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and communication
Take ownership of opening and closing procedures, cash handling and daily reports
Maintain high standards of presentation, guest satisfaction and brand integrity
Ensure compliance with all WHS, RSA and food safety requirements
About You
Previous experience in a supervisor or assistant manager role within a fast-paced venue
Confident leading a team and creating a positive, supportive culture
Strong understanding of service flow, customer experience and restaurant operations
Organised, reliable and solutions-focused with great communication skills
Passionate about good food, people and sustainability
Calm under pressure and hands-on during busy services
