Position Description:
The Team Leader at Lutheran Disability Services is a pivotal role that involves guiding and supporting a dedicated team in delivering high-quality services to individuals with disabilities. The position demands strong leadership abilities, effective communication, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor team members, promoting professional development and teamwork.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
- Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies that enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to align goals and share best practices.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide feedback to staff on their contributions.
Main Tasks:
- Create schedules for team members ensuring adequate coverage for client needs.
- Conduct performance evaluations and assist in the recruitment of new staff as necessary.
- Resolve conflicts within the team promptly while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of team activities, incidents, and service outcomes.
