In the role of Associate Director, Risk Management, you will join a high-performing team focused on delivering high-quality, executive-ready risk reporting that supports decision-making, governance and regulatory outcomes across the enterprise.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Own the end-to-end delivery of risk reports and artefacts, ensuring they are accurate, timely and executive-ready.
- Apply critical analysis to complex risk information, challenging assumptions and validating conclusions.
- Translate detailed risk data into clear, concise insights for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
- Proactively manage delivery timelines, dependencies and risks, escalating issues where required.
- Review and uplift the quality of reporting outputs produced by others, ensuring “first-time-right” standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting frameworks, templates and processes.
- Role-model strong risk governance, documentation and assurance practices across the Risk function.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Significant experience in risk management, governance or risk reporting, ideally within Corporate & Institutional Banking.
- Proven ability to produce executive or Board-level reporting.
- Strong critical thinking and judgement, particularly in complex or ambiguous environments.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify gaps, risks and inconsistencies.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce concise, structured and impactful reports.
- Experience influencing stakeholders and providing constructive challenge.
- Tertiary qualification in Risk, Finance, Commerce, Law or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
