Your New Role
We're looking for an Analyst, Investment Data Management to join our Investment Services team to support the daily management of investment data operations, controls and governance processes that underpin our investment function. Working within a highly collaborative environment, you'll partner with investment teams, service providers, technology partners and vendors to ensure investment data is accurate, timely and fit for purpose.
Some responsibilities include:
- Supporting daily investment data management activities and workflows.
- Maintaining investment master data, including portfolio and security reference data.
- Investigating and resolving data discrepancies, exceptions and operational issues.
- Performing reconciliations across multiple data sources and systems.
- Maintain integrity of investment data architecture, data lineage, data mapping, data catalogue.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure data management policies, processes and regulations are applied.
How do you exceed our expectations?
- Demonstrated working knowledge of investment data management operations in a large Fund Manager, Asset Manager, Asset Owner or equivalent experience in Financial Services industry.
- 1–3 years' experience in investment operations, investment data management, funds management, superannuation or broader financial services.
- Demonstrated understanding of the end-to-end investment data mastering and logic-based data transition processes, the creation and maintenance of core static structural data.
- Technical capabilities in (or equivalent): Aladdin, eFront, Ortec, GoldenSource, Matrix (Rimes)
- SQL, Python, R or other data analysis skills (highly regarded)
