Restaurant Front of House Manager
Ming Dining is seeking an experienced Front of House Manager to lead our restaurant service team in Melbourne CBD.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage daily front-of-house operations
- Lead and train wait staff
- Maintain high service standards
- Handle reservations, guest enquiries and complaints
- Coordinate private dining and group bookings
- Work closely with the kitchen team during service
- Manage opening and closing procedures
- Support sales, customer experience and team performance
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years restaurant management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to work nights and weekends
- Experience in premium dining, Chinese restaurant or event service is preferred
Preferred Experience:
- Experience managing private dining rooms and corporate events.
- Experience handling group bookings and functions of 20–100 guests.
- Ability to achieve service, sales and customer satisfaction targets.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience with reservations, event coordination and guest relations.
- Experience in premium dining or high-volume hospitality venues is highly regarded.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
