Key Responsibilities:
· Review technical drawings, plans, and specifications to identify material requirements, measurements, and construction methods.
· Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and related materials to manufacture joinery products and structural fittings.
· Produce and fit timber components including frames, doors, windows, flooring systems, and custom-made wood structures.
· Prepare and construct timber joints and assembled sections ready for installation on-site or within prefabricated structures.
· Carry out repairs, adjustments, and maintenance of existing timber fittings and fixtures where required.
· Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery to complete workshop-based fabrication and assembly tasks.
· Work with a range of materials including timber, laminates, perspex, metals, and aluminium components as part of the manufacturing process.
· Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace safety procedures, quality standards, and project specifications.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent qualification.
· Minimum 1 year of full-time relevant industry experience (or equivalent part-time experience).
· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, measurements, and technical documentation accurately.
· Strong practical knowledge of timber construction methods, joinery techniques, and workshop practices.
· Experience using woodworking machinery, power tools, and specialised equipment for cutting and assembly tasks.
· High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and well-finished joinery products.
· Good organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
· Understanding of workplace safety obligations, safe material handling, and general construction industry standards.
Pay: $95,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
