Maxim Maintenance Solutions is expanding its high-performing workforce across Western Australia and is seeking skilled and reliable Maintenance Technicians to join our team across multiple sites and rosters for surface and underground roles.

These are immediate start opportunities, with applicants who hold full Australian work rights preferred. Visa holders must have valid work rights in Australia.
THE ROLE
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance, diagnosis and repair of a range of heavy mobile equipment, plant and/or trucks. Depending on the project, your duties may include:
- Conducting scheduled, preventative and planned maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults
- Performing breakdown repairs and responding to equipment failures
- Carrying out component change-outs, repairs and rebuilds
- Completing inspections and identifying potential equipment issues
- Supporting shutdown maintenance and field service activities
- Performing engine, drivetrain and other mechanical repairs
- Taking, analysing and interpreting equipment samples where required
- Maintaining accurate maintenance and inspection records
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to required standards
- Maintaining tools, equipment and work areas in good condition
- Working collaboratively with site teams to maximise equipment reliability and availability
OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE
We have a range of Perth Metro and FIFO (Surface & Underground) opportunities, with rosters including 5/2, 8/6 and 2/1, depending on the project and client requirements.
Experience may include maintenance and repairs on:
- Heavy Mobile Equipment and Mobile Plant
- Surface and Underground Drill Rigs
- Trucks and Commercial Vehicles, including European truck platforms
- Loaders, Excavators and Mining Equipment
- Sandvik, Epiroc, CAT and other OEM equipment
ABOUT YOU
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Relevant trade qualifications or proven maintenance experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and component change-outs
- Sound knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systems
- Experience working on heavy equipment, trucks, mobile plant or drill rigs
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work across Perth Metro, FIFO and remote locations
- A current Australian driver's licence
- Full Australian work rights or a valid visa with appropriate work rights
