We are seeking a reliable and physically capable MR Delivery Truck Driver to join our team.
This is predominantly a MR truck driving role involving the delivery and manual handling of bulky packaging materials. While some warehouse support may be required from time to time, the primary focus of the position is driving and completing deliveries safely and efficiently.
Position Details
- Casual full time
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
- $33 per hour + Overtime + Superannuation
- Based in Arndell Park NSW
Core Duties
- Local deliveries with knowledge of Sydney metro and New Castle areas
- Operating a company MR truck with GPS tracking and navigation
- Multi-drop deliveries
- Assisting with manual unloading at customer sites
- Maintaining delivery documentation and vehicle care
- Providing professional customer service
- Manual handling of large bubble wrap rolls (up to 1.5m long and up to 1m diameter) up to 25kg
- Repetitive lifting, rolling, carrying and manoeuvring bulky items
- Loose loading and unloading of trucks
- Container unloading (manual and forklift-assisted)
- Picking, packing and dispatch preparation
- Stock replenishment and warehouse housekeeping
- Operating forklift when required
Driving duties will be rostered based on operational requirements and may vary week to week.
Requirements/ experience
- Valid Forklift Licence
- Valid MR Truck Licence, able to drive manual
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting up to 25kg
- Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
- Previous warehouse and MR Truck delivery experience 1 year +
- Full Australian work permit
