-About the Role
Broome Staircase Designs is seeking an experienced, reliable and professional casual retail sales assisant to join our Mandurah jewellery team.
This role is particularly suited to an experienced retail salesperson looking for regular weekend work in a beautiful jewellery environment. Saturday and Sunday availability is essential, with the possibility of additional weekday hours.
We are looking for someone who is confident with customers, well presented, organised and comfortable working both independantly and as part of a small team. Previous jewellery or luxury retail experience would be highly regarded.
This is an excellent opportunity for a friendly and confident customer service professional who enjoys working with people and creating a high-quality retail experience. A local Mandurah applicant would be ideal.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional and attentive customer service
- Assist customers with product enquiries and purchasing decisions
- Support day-to-day retail operations
- Process sales using Shopify POS and other basic computer systems
- Complete general administration and organisational tasks
- Follow established systems, procedures and workplace standards
- Maintain a well-presented and welcoming retail environment
- Work effectively as part of a team while also managing tasks independently
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all aspects of the role
Requirements
This position is primarly to provide weekend coverage, Saturday and Sunday availability is essential. Additional weekday hours may also be available depending on business needs.
- Previous retail experience is essential
- Jewellery sales experience will be highly regarded
- Previous Shopify POS experience will be highly regarded
- Reliable and punctual approach to work
- Friendly, confident and professional manner
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Good administration and organisational skills
- Ability to follow established systems and procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Well-presented appearance
- Ability to work independently when required
- An interest in jewellery and delivering an exceptional retail experience will be highly regarded
