Dental Assistant / Receptionist
Borsos Dental – Colac
Borsos Dental is seeking a friendly, reliable Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our supportive team.
Previous dental experience is not required. Paid, on-the-job training will be provided to the successful applicant.
Regular Hours
- Tuesday: 9:00 am to approximately 2:30 pm
- Friday: 9:00 am to approximately 2:30 pm
Please note that the practice is closed on public holidays.
Additional Training Hours
Additional hours may be available during the initial training period to help you learn the role and develop your skills as quickly as possible.
Pay Rate
Our staff are paid above the industry standard.
For an applicant with no previous dental assisting experience, the starting casual rate is:
- $30 per hour, plus superannuation
- Opportunity to increase to $35 per hour within the first 12 months, based on performance
- Opportunity to increase to $40 per hour within the first two years, based on performance and role development

Experience and Qualifications
Experience in dental assisting, reception, administration or customer service will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
Applicants without formal qualifications or dental experience are encouraged to apply.
