About Us:
TeamKids, Australia's leading provider of before and after-school care programs, is looking for a superstar Learning and Development Manager to join our energetic and dynamic team. As our L&D Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our training and development efforts, working closely with our leadership team and other departments to ensure our programs run seamlessly.
The Role:
The Learning and Development (L&D) Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance the skills and capabilities of all TeamKids employees. Collaborating with key internal stakeholders, this role will lead learning initiatives across the organisation and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver effective and engaging programs to a range of internal stakeholders.
- Conduct regular training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities.
- Ensure training compliance with key industry regulations and standards.
- Maintain records and report on key training activity.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the L&D and OSHC sectors.
Experience:
- Proven experience in a Learning and Development role, preferably within the education or childcare sectors.
- Experience in OSHC or a similar environment is highly desirable.
Key competencies:
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- People first approach to learning and stakeholder management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to assess training needs and develop appropriate programs.
- Skilled in eLearning content development
- Passionate about education and professional development.
- Innovative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Experience using Articulate Rise to design, develop and maintain interactive and engaging online learning content.
