Buffet Food Runner
Position: Buffet Food Runner (Casual)
Hours: Evening shifts between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM (days vary based on roster and business needs).

Ariala Springwood is looking for energetic, reliable, and hardworking team members to join our fast-paced restaurant.
As a Buffet Food Runner, you will be responsible for ensuring our buffet remains fully stocked, clean, and presented to a high standard throughout service. You will also assist our dishwashing team during quieter periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Run fresh food from the kitchen to the buffet quickly and safely.
- Keep all buffet stations stocked, clean, and well presented.
- Replace serving utensils and plates as required.
- Monitor buffet quality and report low stock to the kitchen.
- Assist customers where needed while maintaining food safety standards.
- Monitor children at the buffet and politely remind families that children under 12 must be supervised by an adult.
- Maintain cleanliness of buffet areas throughout service.
- Assist the dishwashing team during slower periods.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work closely with both kitchen and front of house teams.
What We're Looking For
- Physically fit and able to be on your feet for long periods.
- Comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift and carry trays and food safely.
- Works well under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to follow instructions and work efficiently.
- Must hold a current Food Safety Certificate or be willing to obtain one before commencing employment.
About the Role
This is a physically demanding role. Our restaurant can seat up to 700 guests per night across two seating times, so speed, urgency, and teamwork are essential. You will spend most of your shift continuously moving between the kitchen and buffet to ensure food is replenished quickly and our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.
Shift Times: Most shifts are scheduled between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM, with additional hours available when required.

Pay: $32.00 – $41.00 per hour
